Haus Schnee is a sculptural winter residence that explores the poetic potential of concrete in a snowy alpine landscape. Defined by monolithic geometry and minimalist rigor, the structure appears both anchored and weightless amidst its environment. The design process focused on expressing permanence and precision while achieving spatial fluidity and lightness. The team employed cast-in-place concrete techniques with meticulous detailing, resulting in sculptural forms like the spiral stair and deep façade reveals. Natural light was treated as a building material, guided into the home through carefully placed openings and skylights.
